Dryskin Gallery These are my personal items, made for myself and my husband, and friends. Please contact me if you want to know more about something custom.

"I'm a big guy from the UK who took up cycling last year. I was getting really fed up with trailing round cycle shops, trying on jerseys that wouldn't go anywhere near to fitting me. I also rang major manufacturers in an attempt to get them to make me a jersey but they weren't interested. After trawling the web I saw Penny's web site and asked her to make me a jersey. I was amazed at the care she took to help me choose the right sort of fabric, the advice I was given when taking measurements and at the speed and efficiency of her service. Now that Penny has my pattern made, repeat jerseys are not going to cost me any more than a good quality jersey would from my local cycle shop. Now I'm just starting to think about a slinky little number for summer riding...."

(Penny's note: Steve is 6'6", #290, has a 18" biceps and a 52" chest.)

Tele Tights: I made these tights in 1997 or so for a tele skier, and he's still racing in them! They have articulated knees, spandura kneepad pockets, and are cut to fit over hard boots. The client provided the lycra. Photo provided by Ken Barcelou/Zero Gravity Photography

Custom Convertible Hiking Pants

Made of a 300d washed Cordura, these are beefier than supplex, but with all the same great wicking and drying properties. Client has a 36" inseam, and needed extra length through the thigh and legs. Also, there
are extra long ankle zips to accomodate client's big feet. The waistband is flat to prevent pack waistbelt from chafing.

Supplex Cycle Shell

This cycling shell is custom made for a 6'4" rider. The fabric is DWR treated supplex nylon, and the accents are reflective tape for high visibility. $90

Gore-tex Ski Bibs
Rich is 6'7" tall. These bibs are 3-layer Gore-tex, fully taped. Features include the new water resistant zippers, Cordura Gore-tex wear patches on seat and knees, small chest pockets, internal gaiters, and side zips. $400

Gore-tex Shell Vest
Tim's patrol vest was duplicated from an Activent shell, copied in
3-layer ripstop Goretex and fully taped.
Features include a chest pocket for radio, and microfleece collar. This is a light vest used for Nordic skiing.

The Icebike Jacket

Clydesdale MTB is a year round Mountain Bike Patroller in NH. The logo jerseys are great, but not suitable for winter riding. I converted his jersey into a winter riding jacket with the addition of a 100 wt./powerdry windblock fleece lining, front zipper with storm flap, pit zips, drawcord at hem, and other features.

$150
